Happy Wednesday, body pos babes!

Today’s post is all about wearing whatever you want, whenever you want. Now, I’m not saying to stroll into your job wearing a crop top (unless that’s within company policy, then by all means!), but I am saying that I purchased this summer dress in August and it has served me well through summer, fall, and winter. In the summer? Wear as-is with bare legs and gladiators. In the fall? Throw on a shrug sweater and maybe tights if it’s breezy. In the winter? My favorite flyaway cardigan and tights make this dress perfectly suitable for outdoor shopping in January in Texas (please don’t try this in New York without a few more layers, haha!).

This is one reason why I feel it’s so important to stock your closet full of wardrobe essentials: cardigans, blazers, tights, leggings, scarves. That way, when you fall in love with a dress as much as I’ve fallen in love with this alternating stripe frock, you can simply swap out your accessories for a number of completely different looks. You can create a ton of outfit combinations without taking up too much closet space.

Admittedly, this dress was easy to transition, because it’s just so versatile. I scored it during Torrid’s “Buy 1, Get 2 free” clearance sale, and I couldn’t be happier. Take a look! Outfit details after all of the (many) photos, including one bonus photo of my extreme side eye abilities (still wondering what I was looking at…).

Complete side note: these wedges are my favorite shoes at the moment. They’re so comfortable and they coordinate with practically everything in my closet. I never, ever find shoes comfortable, but I can easily wear these all day every day, and I often do!

Y’all…it takes a lot to make me side eye this heavily, so something must have really earned my disapproval! 😛

Shop my style: Dress (similar), tights, and wedges from Torrid, necklace (sold out) and handbag (similar) from Kate Spade
