Torrid Florals

I hope my honeybees had a beautiful weekend! Some of you may remember my New Year’s resolution blog post, On the Run. In it, I mentioned that one of my goals for 2017 was to deliver stronger content. One way I intend to do that is by planning out shoots with photographers and really focusing on the art of my blog photos.

capturing the moment

Recently I had the opportunity to work with Leena of Explore and Adore. It was such a wonderful experience — she provided great direction and, looking back on the photos, I see how much of my actual personality she was able to capture. There’s something really raw and genuine about these photos that I can’t wait to share with y’all.

They say a picture’s worth a thousand words, so I’m going to let the pictures do the talking today.

happiness blooms from within

I love the way this darling little park in the middle of Houston’s Heights plays alongside the delicate florals of this Torrid dress. Everything is pretty and breezy and lightweight. Paired with my MaryJane-esque heels from Shoe Carnival and soft, bouncy curls, this look is lovely for a weekend day date. I imagine wearing it for an afternoon of museum hopping or a patio brunch. One thing is for certain: it’s meant to be seen! I hope you enjoy the plethora of photos. Until next time, babes.
